Greystones Medical Centre

Greystones Medical Centre has been serving the local community for over 40 years. We are a University Affiliated (UCD/RCSI) teaching practice.

We recognise the need to respond to the demands of our patients as quickly as possible. It is therefore our promise to provide an efficient service, dealing quickly and accurately with the needs of our patients. It is important to have a family GP that you are happy with, one that you can rely on, and one that knows your family history inside out. This will increase the chance of a fast diagnosis and therefore result in quicker treatment for the patient.

Expansion of Free GP care with a “Doctor Visit Card”

As you may be aware, the government recently announced the expansion of free GP care to all
children under the age of 8 and to households earning below the new median income threshold.
Eligible current practice patients can apply in the coming months as follows:

If your child is aged 6 or 7, you can apply online for a Doctor Visit Card from 11th August 2023.

If your household earns below the new median income (€47,000 per year after deductibles) you can
apply online for a Doctor Visit Card. The extension of free GP care on income grounds will take place
in two phases, on September 11th and November 13th.
